I agree, and it's disgusting too because now they are even repackaging *NEW* drugs as "new and improved".

Paxil is a pretty recent drug. When was it first released to the public, 2000?

And they're already hawking "new Paxil CR", which is nothing but a repackaged version with a time-release mechanism added to the pill. I see the commercials on TV on a regular basis.

Same thing with many, many other drugs. It's not just 1 or 2 drug companies doing it. It's all of them.

After the drug is maybe 1-2 years old, they are modifying it SLIGHTLY and remarketing it and repackaging it, etc, etc.... when they have really done nothing to the drug.
