Gee, Ralph Nader seems like a genius in retrospect. He tried to warn us about giving giant pharmas 20 and 30 year extended drug patents. He also said to watch out for drug companies telling consumer advocates and so called watch dog agencies that they were shovelling money into R&D when in fact they don't. They weren't made to open the books to anyone, at least not before all this corporate corruption has finally hit the fan. They can make a lot of money by repackaging aspirin and other old drugs as "new and improved", and the people fall for it when they spend hundreds of millions on TV and other advertising to explain to us how we need these new and improved 50 year old discoveries. ha ha
Look for small biotechs all over the world to lead the way, like our Dr. Gho and starting out small with tax payer funded research to get the ball rolling. Hell'll freeze over before giant pharmas come up with a cure for baldness or anything better than 5% nogaine, LoPecia or DuShaftUsAside. ha ha
