if you get a bad ht you wont have the option to shave. If you wait on ht then you will get the option of hm. Also there are advantages over ht aswell. One, if you look good with your head shaven girls will notice you more then guys with average boring hair (not talking about those people with Fabio hair). Also it is a pretty good intimidation factor. You'll find that out when you completely shave your head. With the peptide that should becoming out within the next few years you will be able to regain the hair you have lost. I don't know if having a ht would interfere with the effectiveness of this application. I used to have a weird color of hair that I got compliments on. when it went away I wasn't really bothered by it untill I saw what it did to my status like many of the people in this forum. I have blue eyes that I get more complimetns on by the ladies when my head is shaven. I'm not saying this is for you, but it is a good fix that is easy to get used too at least till hm comes out. Think hard before you go under the knife though there are better things out there then ht like ft
