With HM coming "within four years" it is amazing how low peoples' self esteem has gotten over these past few weeks. I have to admit that hair loss in general is a rollercoaster of emotions, wheresome days people are in a state of euphoria and other days it seems bleak as ever. I try to stay positive and keep going but sometimes it just seems overwhelming. But we must remember Gho's timeframe is moving forward. We went from a guess of 5 years, and after one year he did not say 5 again, said "Within four", which for the optimists like myself means 3+. HM, like JTR said is not a cure, but if after say 1 or 2 sessions of HM we can achieve a minimum of 40 - 50 % density there will be very minimal signs of hair loss. Also, we cannot forget Ken Washenik and the guys over at Bosley who are also making great strides at HM. Companies like NHI, NuHair, etc are more than likely working on something, but might be keeping a tight lid on things. It is no secret that HM is achieveable, becuase if it were not Bosley would not shell out big bucks for top scientific researchers. I am sure that they have alot more derms working on HM, but are not quite as noteworthy as Washenik...
